A. Periodontal Disease (gum disease) Gum disease subjects and healthy subjects
Purpose of the study: Gum diseases are infections that are caused by bacteria living in the mouth, particularly in dental plaque. The purpose of this study is to determine if bacteria cause gum disease or protect against these infections.
