This is a time of transformation and excitement for The Forsyth Institute. After nearly a century as a distinguished presence at 140 The Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts, Forsyth is making plans to celebrate its centennial in a new state-of-the-art facility.
Over the past 97 years, Forsyth has come a long way from simply treating dental cavities, to discovering the cause of tooth decay, to preventing it. Our scientists have made breakthroughs in cutting-edge research in oral health and related biomedical science. Today our scientists are working to perfect a vaccine to prevent tooth decay, gain a greater understanding of diseases that have a huge impact on the global population such as diabetes and Alzheimer's disease and to advance the disease fighting potential of photomedicine. Forsyth remains the world's leading institute focused on understanding and eradicating oral disease.
