Carline Durocher

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Corporate Secretary, Director of Technology Development

Carline Durocher is a legal and business professional with more than 18 years of experience.

Prior to joining the Forsyth Institute, she was senior corporate counsel at The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. responsible for a broad range of general corporate matters, including strategic collaborations with commercial, academic and research institutions, technology transfer and intellectual property transactions in biomedical, energy, autonomous vehicles and commercial space industries. In addition, Durocher was the lead counsel for employment law and benefits matters, corporate finance and investments (including debt transactions and operational due diligence on external fund managers) and corporate spin-outs.

Prior to joining Draper, Durocher spent eight years in private law practice working on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions with deal sizes ranging from $2M to $2.2B. Previously, she worked as a technology research analyst for a leading research and advisory company conducting primary and secondary research, publishing reports on various technology sectors and advising c-level executives.
