Entrepreneurial Science Center

The mission of The Forsyth Entrepreneurial Science Center (FESC) is to foster innovative biomedical research and to accelerate the growth of early-stage companies including, but not limited to, Forsyth-based technology start-up companies.

The FESC provides participants with Biosafety Level 1 & 2 laboratory space, office and meeting space, as well as access to Forsyth's core facilities and services.

Core Facilities

Forsyth maintains specialty core facilities that provide specialized equipment and expertise for its investigators and, on a fee-for-service basis, to FESC participants. Core facilities include the following:

  • Epidemiology and Biostatistics Core
  • Flow Cytometry Core
  • Histology Core
  • Imaging Core
  • Mass Spectrometry Core
  • Micro Computed Tomography Core
  • Multiplex Core
  • Sequencing and Bioinformatics Core
