In-Person Participation for Forsyth Events On-Site: Guided by our commitment to the health and safety of our community, Forsyth has established guidance for guests participating in Forsyth events in-person and on-site at a Forsyth facility. Supporting the wellbeing of community members while advancing Forsyth’s mission related work requires each of us, including our guests, to take steps to protect ourselves and others by following important health and safety protocols on-site at Forsyth.

Forsyth reserves the right to refuse entry to an onsite event to anyone who fails to meet the requirements described below.

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Forsyth reserves the right to move any in-person events to an online format to ensure the health and safety of our community. In the event that a program is moved to a virtual format only, Forsyth’s event personnel will contact those program registrants to transfer their registration to the virtual platform.

Forsyth Covid-19 Requirements When Participating “In-Person” at a Forsyth Event On-Site:

Any individual who wishes to participate in-person at an on-site event at Forsyth MUST:

  • Be fully vaccinated by the date of the on-site visit at Forsyth.  All in-person guests will be required to show verification of vaccination upon arrival to the on-site Forsyth event.
  • Forsyth Institute reserves the right to require documentation of a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours before arrival at the Forsyth Institute for fully vaccinated persons.
  • Wear a mask or face covering at all times while on the Forsyth premises.
  • Socially distance from other persons while on the Forsyth premises.  Maintain 6 feet distance from other persons in common areas, and at least three feet in the Forsyth Seminar Rooms during program and presentation events.
  • Complete Forsyth’s COVID-19 screening process, if required, before entry.  Such screening may include:
    • Completing a COVID-19 symptoms questionnaire and passing the screening in accordance with Forsyth policies and federal and state health and safety guidance.
  • Regardless of your vaccination status, have you experienced any of the symptoms inthe list below in the past 48 hours?
    IMPORTANT: ANSWER “YES” EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE THE SYMPTOM(S) IS BECAUSE OF SOME OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION (FOR EXAMPLE, ANSWER “YES” IF YOU HAVE A RUNNY NOSE BECAUSE OF ALLERGIES)
    • fever or chills
    • cough
    • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • fatigue
    • muscle or body aches
    • headache
    • new loss of taste or smell
    • sore throat
    • congestion or runny nose
    • nausea or vomiting
    • diarrhea
  • Temperature being taken on-site with a touchless thermometer. Individuals with a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or above will not be permitted to attend the in-person event.
  • Showing verification of COVID-19 vaccination.

Due to the fluid nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic, these policies may be modified as new information emerges.
