The ForsythKids team is offering teledentistry as a way to check on your child’s teeth from home.

What is Teledentistry?

Teledentistry is the dental version of telehealth – it is a virtual appointment with a dental professional using safe and protected photo* and video* platforms. It can be done easily from home!

A teledentistry visit does not replace a dental office visit, but can help you learn if there are some concerns in your child’s mouth that need more immediate attention.

Interested in a teledentistry visit for your child? Please follow the steps below!

Teledentistry with ForsythKids

Step 1: Is your child currently enrolled in the ForsythKids program?

If yes, please email us at forsythkids@forsyth.org and we will send you a link for the teledentistry form.

If no, please fill out the ForsythKids program registration form here and select “We want to send pictures of my child’s teeth (teledentistry)”.

Step 2: Fill out the ForsythKids Teledentistry form – the link will be emailed to you.

The form will ask you some questions about your child’s dental health. You can send us pictures of your child’s mouth and teeth directly from your smartphone or computer. We will give you some helpful tips on how to take each picture.

Step 3: Talk with our team.

Our dental team will review your child’s pictures and contact you to discuss what we see.

* We are using REDCap and ZoomHealth platforms. Both are HIPAA-compliant.
