Entrepreneurial Science Center
The mission of The Forsyth Entrepreneurial Science Center (FESC) is to foster innovative biomedical research and to accelerate the growth of early-stage companies including, but not limited to, Forsyth-based technology start-up companies.
The FESC provides participants with Biosafety Level 1 & 2 laboratory space, office and meeting space, as well as access to Forsyth's core facilities and services.
Forsyth maintains specialty core facilities that provide specialized equipment and expertise for its investigators and, on a fee-for-service basis, to FESC participants. Core facilities include the following:
- Bioinformatics Core
- Biostructure Core
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics Core
- Flow Cytometry Core
- Histology Core
- Human Oral Microbe Identification using Next Generation Sequencing (HOMINGS)
- Multiplex Core
- Mass Spectrometry Core
- Micro Computed Tomography Core
- Sequencing Core
