Director of Development
Leah Hoover, Forsyth’s Director of Development, is responsible for raising philanthropic support for the Institute’s research and community programs.
Hoover has served the not-for-profit sector in various capacities for more than 15 years. She has broad experience as a leading strategist and front-line fundraiser. Hoover has made strong contributions to health care, research and academia. Her background includes: directing the capital campaign for a Brookline non-profit; managing annual giving and planned giving programs for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation; directing the capital campaign and soliciting major gifts for McMaster University; and directing alumni/annual giving for the University of Michigan.
Most recently, Hoover directed integrated individual and leadership giving programs for the Boys & Girls Club of Newton.
Hoover has a BA degree from McMaster University, is a member of AFP MA, sits on local and national boards and advisory committees. She enjoys golf, curling, geocaching and is a self-proclaimed oenophile.
