Raffi Miller, DMD, CAGS is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Director of the ForsythKids program, the public health dental outreach program of the Forsyth Institute that serves the original mission of Forsyth—helping underserved children in Massachusetts. Raffi joined ForsythKids in 2013 and became the Clinical Director in 2015 before his current position. During his time with ForsythKids, he has seen enrollment nearly double and has added over a dozen new sites that ForsythKids serves. He has also helped increase the visibility of the program by engaging with new community partners, including the United Way and the Greater Boston Food Bank. His passion for public health outreach and helping underserved children helps guide the growth of the ForsythKids program.
Raffi earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Harvard University in 2005 before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University in 2009. He then completed his pediatric dentistry resident training through Boston University in 2011, working at Franciscan Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. He held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine from 2011-2015 before taking the Clinical Director position with ForsythKids. In addition to his academic and public health endeavors, Raffi has also maintained positions in private practice in Massachusetts since 2009.
